East Coast Open Tournament, Spotswood High School. April 17, 2010. Click here to see the flyer and registration form . The form must be sent to the tournament, not to our school. This is an excellent tournament and I encourage everyone to attend. The entry fee, if mailed, is only $35 or $40 at the door. To spar, students must have level 1 and level 2 gear. Cougar Cubs must learn the first form (Kibon Hanna). We will have special practice classes, so please let Debbie know immediately if you plan to go.
Rank Testing - March 17, 2010. The next rank test is March17th, 2009. You must register and pay by March 1st to be eligible to test. Required time-in-grade grows with rank, so strive to test as soon as you can at the novice and intermediate ranks! The Instructor will tell you if he feels you should wait; do not judge yourself. Remember that "time-in-grade" is a part of the requirements. Time in grade is a minimum number of classes at each rank. If you want to progress faster, ask about private lessons.
When the County school system is closed due to poor weather - the martial arts classes are also canceled and we will schedule a makeup. If the school system is closed for other reasons, please see the ACMA schedule on this site to see if American Cougar classes are canceled.
